What part of time
slips from behind the veil
to speak with you?
which moment stretches
it`s fingers, like ripples
on water, coherent

traction?

At that intersection,
who speaks on your behalf,
alone as the moon
is naked. What voice
do you hear to sing you
from the unborn sky,
vibrant enough to
overcome silence.

Austin to play Go with carbon pucks and gravel from Eckerd`s dumpster.  These faded girls in wallet chains nearly recognize each other across the mirror, strung together by the secret memories of counting bumps on the ceiling while Beethoven bangs the piano next door.

Go!

82 miles per hour to the hot springs of New Mexico, with an ounce of kind bud and the stench of cop.  Don`t worry -- we`ll be naked soon.

Go!

San Francisco to blow fog on the faces of a dozen confiscated fruits, fresh released, set calmly on Castro to pinball and prostitute the deadlier bar.

Go!

The ocean of Europa, where a trilobite dances for an audience of germs who arrived by asteroid to escape Houston smog and the lethal coke smile of George W. Bush.

Go.

Juarez.  Wave tits at El Paso.  Leave our Texas quarters on the bench next to Santa Maria`s well.

Go.  Dear SJ,

I stood in line to fall in love with you but got sidetracked in New Orleans, imagine that;)  I hope your journey takes you deep into danger and brings you safely back out.  I hope your muse never stops whispering, and most of all I hope you find what you`re looking for.  You`re special to me.  And you will always have a place in my adventure.

Recently, a stranger was told of Ms. SJ Tucker for the first time, and he posed a simple question to me:  "Sirs, tell: is Ms. SJ Tucker on the spoke, or is she off in the weeds?"  I am here to make it known that (as should be obvious to anyone who knows her), Ms. SJ Tucker is solidly and profoundly on the spoke.  On the VARY spoke.  In fact, this talented human exemplifies the state or quality of being on the spoke moreso than anyone you could care to name.  I may have described others as being on the spoke in the past, but Ms. SJ Tucker makes them seem far off in the weeds by comparrison.  I`d have to say that Ms. SJ Tucker is not only vary near the inside edge of the spoke, she also holds the motive force that turns the spoke itself.  But she doesn`t selfishly glory in her spokedom, nevar.  Ms. SJ Tucker brings the spoke to the edge of the weeds, and she shouts, "Hey, evaryone off in the weeds.  Come out of the weeds and join me on the spoke."  Through Ms. SJ Tucker, you, too, can be guided out of the weeds and onto the spoke for a little while.  Ms. SJ Tucker? VARY VARY EVAR.

And as suddenly as she had taken the stage by storm, she slipped away into the night that made her. Was it a ghost? A haunting memory? Or the visitation of an angel disguised as both. Whatever the case, it has been a pleasure to experience your web site and kind of rediscover SJ Tucker as Skinny White Chick. I must tell you I truely enjoyed your concert Friday night in Dumas. When you sang "Fire and Rain", I almost had a vision of Eva Cassidy. Keep up the great work with your originals.

I always knew you`d end up a big star.  Please come down to Fayetteville sometime and I`ll round the whole ASMS posse up to see you and buy your cds.  I`m so very proud and wish I could see you soon.  Write me and tell me how wide the world has gotten.

Your performance at javacabana last week was breathtaking.  "Divinely inspired" isn`t an overstatement in your case.  You have the greek Sirens beat child.  I was completely caught up with the first song.  I was unprepared for the near exstatic trance those golden vocal chords induced.  The songs are still running through my head.  You definitely have yourself a new fan.
